Some passions don’t disappear—they just wait patiently.
When I had my newborn daughter, I knew I no longer wanted a managerial position that kept me in an office for 12 hours a day. At the same time, my recently acquired 9–5 job selling engineering services didn’t excite me at all. That’s when a lightbulb turned on. I called my former boss, who owned a real estate brokerage, and asked him what he thought about me becoming a REALTOR®. “Andrea,” he said, “come to my office ASAP. Let’s talk in person.”
That conversation marked the beginning of a career that had been quietly brewing in the background since I was 10 years old. Growing up in Denver, I had two seemingly unrelated obsessions: real estate listings and body building. My parents saved the real estate section of the newspaper so I could scan through the listings, and I tagged along to open houses with my brother-in-law. At the same time, I was completely fascinated by Arnold Schwarzenegger, his physique, and the bodybuilding world.

Living in Denver as a Black girl wasn’t easy. The city lacked diversity and I felt it. Maybe because of that, I decided to move to California after high school to pursue modeling. I stayed for 6 years, but eventually realized my height limited my options—and more importantly, I wasn’t as passionate about the industry as I once was. The career felt artificial, and I was craving depth and real human connection.
I returned to Denver and joined a gym, determined to build muscle. The membership manager happened to mention that I would get a free membership if I were an employee. So, I took the opportunity in front of me.
I started by selling gym memberships, then worked my way up to management. I also became a personal trainer. I was passionate about reaching my own fitness goals, taught myself how to do it, and eventually trained others on how to reach their fitness goals.
During that time, I met my husband, Charlie. Eventually, we welcomed our daughter, Genesis. She was a game changer. As any parent knows, priorities shift fast once you have a child. I quit my gym management position so I could spend more time at home and transitioned into a standard 9–5 job. But something still felt off. I realized I needed a career I truly cared about. I couldn’t work simply for the sake of making money—my body made that clear as my happiness steadily dropped.

When I finally sat down with my former gym manager—now a broker—he explained what it really takes to become a successful REALTOR®. Then he said, “Andrea, I think you’d be great at it.” The little girl who once pored over real estate listings in the newspaper was still there, and she was excited to jump in.
I got my real estate license in 2016 and quickly fell in love with the industry. Like anything, it has its challenges, but it’s a beautiful way to serve people—not just by helping them buy or sell a home, but by helping them integrate into a new community.
I’m still passionate about health. I continue to lift weights and maintain the muscle I’ve built over the years, and I still study exercise science and nutrition. I also love to read, cook, hike, and spend time with Charlie, Genesis, and my two stepsons, Christian and Isaiah.
I feel privileged to have explored the two things that fascinated me from such a young age: real estate and bodybuilding. They may seem unrelated, but at their core, both are about transformation—building the lifestyle you want and finding your people. Both paths have allowed me to serve and connect deeply with others.
And yes, I’m still a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I care deeply about my clients, often to the point where they become friends and feel like family. Even when we disagree, my priority is always their well-being and helping them make smart decisions. From the very beginning, I walk clients through the process step by step, clearly explaining what we’re doing and why. Before anything is signed, I make sure they fully understand every word they’re signing. While my clients are always the decision-makers, I provide the knowledge, guidance, and analysis they need to choose confidently.
I lead with integrity in everything I do, which means I’m always honest. I work with people from all backgrounds and walks of life, treating everyone with kindness and respect while making the experience as enjoyable and fun as possible. I stay in constant contact through calls and texts, keeping clients informed at every stage. Even after the transaction is complete, I value maintaining the relationship—whether that means meeting for lunch or simply staying in touch. My goal is to be the most reliable, dependable REALTOR® they’ve ever worked with.
Sincerely,

Andrea Stefo
